If September 11th seared itself into the consciousness of the world on that ill-fated day, one can only imagine the impact the day had on the nation's news anchors. "My father called me that morning and told me to turn on the television. The plane had just crashed into the second tower. I dropped the phone and sat on my bed and started crying."
